Iran Art: BMW Group Middle East returns to Art Dubai with one of the most celebrated pieces in the BMW Art Car Collection, the BMW M1 Art Car, transformed in 1979 by the iconic Andy Warhol.
Warhol’s bold and expressive strokes turned the BMW M1 into a moving canvas, capturing the essence of speed, dynamism, and artistic revolution. Coinciding with the Collection’s 50th anniversary, the Art Car will be shown – for the first time in the region, at this year’s edition of Art Dubai.
BMW Art Cars or the ‘Rolling Sculptures’ are original pieces of art that demonstrate a synthesis of artistic expression and automobile design. Since 1975, 20 international artists have created Art Cars based on contemporary BMW automobiles of their times, all offering a wide range of artistic interpretations.
