An exhibition featuring unseen works by Iran’s veteran cartoonist, graphic designer, and illustrator Kambiz Derambakhsh, will go on display at Tehran’s Cama Gallery.
Top Iranian cartoonist Kambiz Derambakhsh, whose works were published in the world’s major newspapers and magazines such as New York Times and Spiegel, passed away in a Tehran hospital on Saturday after a severe battle with COVID-19. He was 79.

TEHRAN –(Iranart)- Kambiz Derambakhsh, a cartoonist famous for his quick and simple cartoons, was honored with a lifetime achievement award at the 16th edition of the Image of the Year Celebration on Friday.
A new collection of art works by Iranian contemporary artist Kambiz Derambakhsh are in view at the Seyhoun Art Gallery until 30 January. The program is titled Uncle Kambiz Sketches.
Writer Kambiz Derambakhsh attended a book signing ceremony for his latest work titled Smiley Arts. The Gooya Art Gallery hosted the Thursday event which included a display of his latest works.
A duo art exposition by Kambiz Derambakhsh and Soheil Hosseini is underway in the A Gallery until 23 October. The program is titled Joghdabad (Owl Land).
