Logo Contest for Graphic Designers

TEHRAN –(Iranart) he newly established aviation company, Dena Airlines, has launched a logo contest.

The company has invited all graphic designers to the competition and will give a prize of 150 million rials ($ 4,006) for the best design submitted, according to Tandis magazine of visual art (tandismag.com).

Three celebrated artists will review and select the works: veteran photographer, painter, graphic designer and art director Ebrahim Haqiqi, 67; graphic designer, sketch artist, illustrator and sculptor Bahram Kalhornia, 65; and young photographer, film director Arya Derafshrazm.

There are also awards for the second and third designs selected by the jury.  

All prizes come with commendation plaques.

Submission deadline for the designs is June 30 and there is no limit on the number of entries by each participant.

Works to be submitted should include both image and text, and bear the name of the airline which should be legible when used in monochrome. The designs can be accompanied with a brief description.
