Roza Akhlaghi and the Phoenix Art Group| Exhibition at Louvre Art Shopping Paris
IranArt : Roza Akhlaghi, Director of Phoenix Art Group in Dubai recently organized the Phoenix show, which featured works by ten artists, at the Art Shopping event at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris.
Phoenix Art Group was founded in 2021 by Akhlaghi, who is currently in Venice to display a piece of art. Phoenix, known as the first Iranian art group in Dubai, has quickly gained recognition and has had a number of programs in the UAE, Iran, Georgia, India, France, and Italy.
For more than 20 years, Akhlaghi has been a professional painter. She graduated with a painting diploma from Tehran's Sooreh Art School and a bachelor of fine arts from Dubai's IUFS.
Akhlaghi uses a variety of subject matter and styles - from figurative to abstract - when creating her paintings. She planned the Phoenix show in Paris, which exhibited ten interesting Iranian artists in the heart of Europe, with this viewpoint in mind.
Amir Akhlaghi, Ahmad Melatansari, Bita Karimitabesh, Farzad Zahedi, Tabassom Samadani, Mona Hosseini, Mahnaz Achankan, Shahrzad Tahey, and Maryam Movaghati were among the artists who participated in the exhibition in addition to Roza.
She explains: "As a painter, I realize how important it is for artists to present their work professionally, which is why I worked hard to create a respectable show. To ensure that the artists' work represents a diverse spectrum of current Iranian art, I also made an effort to select artists with varying aesthetic and thematic philosophies."
Roza Akhlaghi emphasized: "Since its establishment, Phoenix has focused on Iranian art. It is widely acknowledged that Iranian artists are among of the most innovative and forward-thinking in the Middle East. Phoenix makes an effort to present some of the less well-known aspects of the current wave of Iranian art. As a result, we decided to call our stand at the Louvre Iran with the subheading Phoenix_art_group. Fortunately, the pieces we chose and the exhibition of Iranian artists from throughout the globe were well received.
The Phoenix exhibition, where Akhlaghi only displayed one piece of art, also served as the impetus for her invitation to the current Venice exhibition.
The exhibit was a part of the Art Shopping event program, which took place in the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris from October 20 to 22, 2023.
