421 Platform Abu Dhabi Will Have Different Spring/20 workshops, supper clubs, listening parties,Exhibitions of Nasir Nasrallah and MFA
This spring 2023 season , 421 platform invite intersted to slow down, dream, stargaze, and savor the moment. The seasonal program coincides with the spring Equinox, ushering in new beginnings and offering us the opportunity to reflect, observe, listen, indulge, and prepare for renewal.
Iranart:The Spring 2023 program presents over 20 workshops, special events, and excursions that bring artists and intersted together to communally slow down and contemplate.This seasonal program includes workshops, supper clubs, listening parties, cultural tours and excursions, outdoor night markets, and more, all offering intuitive and perceptible ways to contribute to shared new beginnings.
The major exhibitions 'And the Mirrors are Many' and 'Mahshid Rafiei: Of Mythic Proportions' will continue into the spring season and will be on view until May 8. The season will also see the opening of a solo exhibition for Artistic Development Program recipient Nasir Nasrallah, and a group exhibition presenting the work of this year’s MFA cohort at New York University Abu Dhabi.
The closing talk, titled 'Residue as Witness', will be moderated by Mays Albaik (Programs and Community Initiatives Manager at 421) and includes speakers Rand Abduljabbar (artist), Sabih Ahmed (Associate Director and Curator at Ishara Art Foundation), and Mona Al-Jadir (curator).
The talk will be followed by a Q&A session with the audience.
