Nordic Days in Artists Forum
TEHRAN – (Iranart)- The Nordic embassies in Tehran are organizing an exhibition dubbed Traces of North - Nordic Days in Tehran at the Iranian Artists Forum from 21-25 June.
The exhibition gives a taste of Nordic culture right in the heart of Tehran and celebrates what unites the Nordic countries other than a somewhat uninviting climate. The aim is to invite, inspire and start conversations, too.
Nordic countries are characterized and inspired by common ideas and values like openness, trust, innovation, sustainability, and the equal value of all people. They are brought together through the similarities in their ways of life, history, language, geography and social structures.
The Nordic region comprises Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Iceland, including the Faroe Islands, Greenland and Åland. With an area of around 3.5 million square kilometers, the Nordic countries form the seventh largest area in the world. Combined, they are the world’s 11th largest economy.
Throughout five days, you can experience Nordic art, movies, literature and design at the Iranian Artists Forum. The program runs until 25 June.
