Qajar Feast
TEHRAN.(Iranart) - Graphic artist and textile designer Mehdi Sarookhani has prepared a ‘Qajar Feast’ at Idea Art Gallery.
Running through May 24, the exhibit features a series of collage arts showing manipulated photos of people from the Qajar era (1786-1925) in an unlikely contemporary context, according to Gallery Info website.
“Placing people out of their original settings has always been one of my preoccupations … This led to creation of the present collection,” Sarookhani said.
