Hamidreza Shafiei Discusses Hamideh Hajjar's Environmental Painting Action

Vesta Color manager : From my point of view, “Forest Elegy” presents a poetic and emotional environment with its brilliant brushstrokes, warm and vivid hues, and hazy composition.
Iran Art : Hamideh Hajjar, a painter who has been actively displaying her works in famous Tehran galleries for almost twenty years, recently developed a piece with various Vesta Color products as part of a cooperative effort between Vesta Color and Mojdeh Art Gallery and submitted it to the brand.
The artist's “Forest Elegy” painting, done with Vesta acrylic colors in 100 x 100 dimensions, is part of a new series inspired by nature and impressionism.
Hamidreza Shafiei, Vesta Color manager, expressed his satisfaction that this gorgeous and striking work was created with Vesta Color and thanked Hajjar for her participation in this project, saying: From my point of view, “Forest Elegy” presents a poetic and emotional environment with its brilliant brushstrokes, warm and vivid hues, and hazy composition.
In addition to being technically sound, the piece conceptually conveys a clear message about nature and an alarm about its decline, he said, and the Impressionist style has enabled the painter to express intense emotions through color and light.
He went on to say: The painting's approach demonstrates small, rapid brushstrokes, which are typical of the Impressionist movement. This method gives the painter's portrayal of nature a sense of motion and vitality. In addition to providing depth and dimension to the piece, the colors are piled on top of one another.
According to Shafiei, Hajjar has blurred the lines between the subjects in her work, and the color palette has given the piece a foggy and ghostly feel.
Vesta Color Manager adds: The cozy color palette and dominance of fall orange and red make a lovely environment. At the same time, the title of the work and the overlapping of the visual elements foreshadow the loss of nature, warning the observer. The juxtaposition of warm hues in the foreground and cold colors in the background (soft blues and greens) contributes to the image's impression of depth. The use of deep reds and vivid oranges evokes a sense of desire, nostalgia, and possibly even grief, which is appropriate given the work's title, “Forest Elegy.”
As the title implies, Hamidreza Shafiei comes to the conclusion that the painting might be a form of lamentation for the trees, possibly as a result of environmental deterioration or seasonal shifts connected to death and rebirth. Because light and color are used to evoke emotion, the style choice is perfectly suited for this kind of subject. Impressionism captures mood and emotion rather than minutiae, and here, too, the nostalgic feeling of fall and nature's decay is nicely communicated.
