‘Sirab Shodam’ single released using Shajarian’s instrument
TEHRAN.(Iranart) –The musical piece ‘Sirab Shodam’, composed by Iranian sound engineer Aidin Olfat, was released.
Also the lyricist and vocalist in the single, Olfat used sorahi – a musical instrument invented by late legendary Iranian vocalist Mohammadreza Shajarian – in his latest release.
Sina Jahan-Abadi (kamancheh), Azad Mirzapour (tar and oud), Mehrdad Nasehi (sorahi), Homayoon Nassiri (bendir and goblet drum), Hossein Rezaeinia and Negar Ezazi (daf), Anahita Harati (qanun), and Omid Nikbin (santur) are the musicians involved in the project.
Olfat has also been accompanied by Nikbin and Nasehi as the backing vocalists.
