Iranian films line up for Dhaka festival
TEHRAN. (Iranart) – A lineup of 29 Iranian feature and short films are scheduled to go on screen in various sections of the 17th Dhaka International Film Festival, which will be held in the Bangladeshi capital from January 10 to 18.
“Dressage” by Puya Badkubeh, “Appendix” by Hossein Namazi, “A Bigger Game” by Abbas Namazdust, “Old Road” by Manijeh Hekmat and “Leaf of Life” by Ebrahim Mokhtari are among the films.
The lineup also includes “Azar” by Mohammad Hamzei, “Endless” by Maryam Zahirimehr, “Lina” by Ramin Rasuli, “Hunting Season” by Dariush Yari and “In the Mist” by Pegah Arzi.
“Difference” by Ali Asadollahi, “Buddha’s Shame” by Morteza Atash Zamzam and “One Kilogram of Fly’s Wings” by Reza Sobhani will also compete in the short film section.
