“Reza” wins award at French festival
TEHRAN. (Iranart) – Iranian director Alireza Motamedi’s film “Reza” received the Ciné+ Distribution Support Award at the 33rd Belfort Entrevues International Film Festival in France, the organizers announced today.
The film tells the story of a divorced man named Reza who is trying to adapt to his new life after a divorce while he finds a new romance.
“Classical Period” by Ted Fendt from the U.S. won the grand prix for the best film, while “Long Way Home” by André Novais Oliveira from Brazil received the audience award.
