Talebi’s Feature Film for Barcelona Festival
TEHRAN, (IRANART)- The Iranian feature film ‘Road to Perdition’ directed by Yaser Talebi will take part in the Craft Film Festival Barcelona in Spain in April.
The festival is the first of its kind in Barcelona that pays special attention to micro-budget independent and self-financed feature films.
The movie narrates the story of two mechanics who are involved in an accident that gives them the opportunity to get half a million dollars, but making the decision is difficult, Mehr News Agency reported.
The cast includes Reza Baziboroun, Ebrahim Emadi, Reza Anvari, Darioush Shafee, Mina Rahmanzadeh, Mehdi Rahimian, Akbar Sadeh and Mehdi Khalili among others.
The 2015 film, running for 85 minutes, has so far attended several international festivals and won awards as well.
Talebi, 35, is an Iranian filmmaker, producer, screenwriter and editor. He has made several documentaries on social and environmental issues. He also makes advertisement trailers and teaches film directing and editing courses.
The festival jury is the audience and the award is given following public votes. The first edition will take place April 7-9.
