Iranian architect Nima Keivani selected as judge at Portugal’s LOOP Design Awards
TEHRAN. (Iranart) – Iranian architect Nima Keivani was selected to judge the works at the LOOP Design Awards in Porto, Portugal.
He is the only Iranian who will evaluate the works of the international event.
This year, in addition to Keivani, prominent architects such as Manuel Aires Mateus, Masaaki Uemori, and Kokutou Uemori will be judging at this global event, which will take place in September 2021.
The architectural studio of Keivani Architects won the best accommodation office of Business Tabloid Magazine in the UK.
Pardis Khaneh, Delbar Khaneh, Orsi Khaneh, Kabootar Khaneh, and Kashi Khaneh are other residential buildings that were designed by Nima Keivani and his brother.
Keivani, co-founder and CEO of Keivani Architects, is an award-winning international architect, researcher, and university lecturer. In 2009, along with his brother, he founded the architectural studio of Keivani Architects.
The projects undertaken by this studio are in different architectural spheres, including residential and commercial buildings, as well as the restoration of ancient monuments. Keivani Architects has already designed and implemented many architectural and interior design projects in the Middle East and Europe. In addition, their projects also were exhibited in architecture and design exhibitions such as the Design Museum of Como, in Italy 2020, and modern & contemporary architecture of Iran in the Tokyo Contemporary Museum, May 2018, and GAP 2017 Melbourne University School of design.
Keivani won several prestigious international architectural awards and has been invited to be a jury participant in international architecture awards, keynote speeches, panel discussions, and lectures in architecture academies and societies.
The LOOP Design Awards is one of the most prestigious and recognized international events in architecture, interior design, landscape design, product design, and architecture photography.
