LIT Lighting Design Awards launch the 2020 Edition
TEHRAN –(Iranart)- LIT Lighting Design Awards ™ is open to submissions on a global level, accepting entries from lighting manufacturers, designers, and practices from all around the world.
The LIT Lighting Design Awards ™ was created to recognize the efforts of talented international lighting product designers and lighting implementers. We believe that lighting is both an art and a science, and it is one of the most important elements of design.
LIT was envisioned to celebrate creativity and innovation in the fields of lighting products and
applications. LIT Design Awards gives 5 winning titles per year:
Lighting Product Design of the Year – Professional
Lighting Design of the Year – Professional
Lifetime Achievement – Professional
Emerging Lighting Product Designer of the Year – Student
Emerging Lighting Design of the Year – Student
The Lifetime Achievement Award was introduced in 2018 to recognize Lighting Designers / Lighting Product Designers contributions to the industry over their entire career. Dedicated to professionals who are nominated by their peers, this award is the highest honor awarded in the lighting design field today.
LIT Lighting Design Awards is also encouraging students and young designers to apply. Winners of the “Emerging” prizes will a cash prize of US$1,000 to support their creativity in lighting design.
Selected by our esteemed jury of designers and leaders in the lighting, interior design, and architectural fields, the annual winners will receive the LIT trophy, extensive publicity showcasing their designs and products to an international audience, and more.

Hossein Farmani is a well-known Iranian collector and founder and president of the Lucie Awards in New York, International Design Awards, International Photography Awards, Paris Photo Prize, London Creative Awards, Focus on AIDS and Farmani Gallery. He has previously launched the "Steve House" cultural complex in Kashan.
