LIT Lighting Design Awards announces the 2020 Winners and Special Prizes

Tehran. (Iranart)-The prestigious LIT Lighting Design Awards is pleased to reveal the LIT 2020 Winners in professionals’ and students’ categories as well as the two "Lifetime Achievement" recipients and the "Spotlight" prize.

The LIT Lighting Design Awards was created to recognize the efforts of talented international lighting product designers and lighting implementers. The organization believes lighting is both an art and a science, and that it is one of the most important elements of design.   LIT was envisioned to celebrate creativity and innovation in the fields of lighting products and applications.

The LIT Jury board members evaluated all submissions from 43 countries, based not only on the highest of current lighting design standards and trends but also seeking out truly visionary designers showcasing creativity and innovation.

“As we struggle this year with an unprecedented challenge. The lighting product designers and lighting designer actions global kept with their excellence in designing. With more than 350 designs submitted this year, you will find some incredible designs by both professional designers and students. This collection of winning works will set new standards in the best of best in lighting design.” Said Hossein Farmani, the Founder of the LIT Design Awards. 

Hossein Farmani is a well-known Iranian collector and founder and president of the Lucie Awards in New York, International Design Awards, International Photography Awards, Paris Photo Prize, London Creative Awards, Focus on AIDS, and Farmani Gallery. He has previously launched the "Steve House" cultural complex in Kashan.
